Ever Wonder where your donation goes? Download our Donation Flow Chart and never wonder again.

There are several ways to contribute to Habitat for Humamity of West Central Minnesota with gifts.  Only through diversity in support and generousity are Habitat homes built.  God has given us all different gifts and abilities which are to be used in different ways to further the Lord's work.  Some people swing the hammers, some paint, some find the materials, some supply the funds, and the list goes on.

Network for Good: When you receive your Credit Card bill, the "Paid In Order To" line will read Network for Good, our on-line donation provider, instead of Habitat for Humanity of West Central Minnesota.

We have several other way to also make donations to WCM.  If you are interested in the following ways of giving, please contact the office to find out more information about how these are used to build more houses for God's people in need of adequate shelter.

Wills and Bequests:  One of the easiest ways to leave a legacy is as simple as making a gift in your will. It provides great assistance to Habitat for Humanity WCM and offers you the opportunity to leave a legacy of your values and generosity.  Make sure to specify Habitat for Humanity of West Central MN.

Donations of Stock:  By contacting our office, we can give you an account number whereby you can donate publicly traded stock to Habitat for Humanity.  You may be entitled to forego Capital Gains by donating appreciated stock directly to HFH versus cashing it out yourself.

Bargain Sales:  By giving or selling assets to HFH, such as property, you may be entitles to a tax deduction from the transaction.  You can deduct either the full (appraised) amount of the asset if it is donated, or the difference between the appraised value and what HFH would pay for the asset.

Gifts-in-kind:  These are donations of materials or labor used to build our HFH houses.  In these situations, HFH provides you with a receipt for the material or labor donated, and it is your responsibility to value these items.  A deduction may be taken for these materials--based on your valuation.  Remember, if you are ever audited, you want to be able to substantiate the value you have placed on the donation.
