Wells Fargo Foundation on behalf of Wells Fargo Housing Foundation has awarded HFHWCM a Team Member Volunteer Program grant. Thank you Wells Fargo!!

The Wells Fargo Foundation, in conjunction with the Willmar Wells Fargo employees, have donated over $100,000 to West Central MN Habitat in 2005 and 2006 and have taken turns working on local Habitat projects. They again donated to West Central MN Habitat another $35,000 in 2007 to help build the Vos Park and Pennock 1 homes!

SHOP (Self-Help Homeownership Opportunity Program) Grant under HUD (Housing Urban Development)/HFHI (Habitat for Humanity International)

Habitat for Humanity of West Central MN was awarded a $100,000 SHOP grant to assist with land purchase and infrastructure of seven builds.  These builds include Vos Park, completed in 2007; Litchfield, completed in 2007; two homes in Montevideo, completed in 2007; Pennock 1, to be completed this spring; Pennock  2, to start construction this spring; and Dassel, to start construction this spring.

The West Central Association of Realtors has recently adopted a "Vacuums for Habitat" program in which a new vacuum will be presented to new owners of Habitat homes in communities where WCAR members maintain a business presence.
