Without volunteers WCM would not be able to help people in need
purchase a home. Our homes are mostly built by volunteers. But,
our volunteer opportunities are not limited to swinging a hammer,
mudding drywall, painting
walls, or installing baseboards.
There are many levels needed to successfully complete a
Habitat house: from selecting a family, to supporting that family before and after
they are in their home; from ordering the materials, to paying the
bills, and more.
Build a Home
Work alongside a family building their home. We may put you to work doing anything from painting a wall to pounding nails, roofing or planting flowers.
Special Events
Help plan dedications, work a booth or raise funds.
Office Work
Stuff envelopes, answer phones, set up databases, write letters and more. Work as much or as little as you like—we’re flexible.
Spread the Word
Help us reach out to the community through advocacy. Use your speaking skills to raise awareness and funds. Use your writing skills to help with public relations materials, website updates, and more.
Work with Families
Become
a family mentor and experience the joy and satisfaction of helping a
family through the challenges and rewards of building and buying their
home.
