New London Home
I would like to thank all of the volunteers at Habitat for Humanity on this second chacne in life on the partnership for our family's new house. My family is benefiting so much from this partnership--

Like meeting new and friendly people tha tare very caring in this world, a second chance on owning a home,

building equity for the future,

giving me pride in the sweat equity and love that I am putting into the partnership,

a home for my children to give tham a better sense of security in their lives,

and their chance to make new friends.

It makes me feel like I am working for something in life and a goal towards something better than I have right now. The house we have been selected for is a lot more updated, more efficent, and safer for my children. My family is benefiting a lot from this partnership. I once again want to thank everyone who has made this partnership happen.

Montevideo Home

Hi, my name is Stephanie Korte. I live in Montevideo. I work at Luther Haven Nursing Home as a TMA/CNA. I have two children. Taylor is 11 years old and will be turning 12 on November 20th. Chase is 8, but will be turning 9 on August 16th. Taylor loves dance, music, and books. Chase loves football, baseball, basketball, and swimming.

Our family likes to watch movies and play games together. We like to take a small vacation in the summer to Nickeldeon world or Valleyfair. We stay at a hotel and go swimming.

I would like to thank habitat for this opportunity for my children and I. We are very grateful and excited to have a home we can call our own. I would like to thank everyone involved in helping with every step it takes to accomplish the building of our home. You are all very special people.

I just want to thank Habitat for the wonderful opportunity of giving me the chance to own my own house.

I have three kids -- Nathan is 19 years old, Ryan and Corey are 14 years old. The twins are both really happy about having their own rooms. Nathen is happy to have a bigger room. Al three boys are glad to be moving to Dassel because they will be closer to their friends.

I work for Divine Home Care, Inc. I really like my job and with living in Dassel it will only take me 10 minutes to get to work. Most of all I am just happy to have a safe place for the kids and me to live. Thanks again so much!

We are the Ocampo family. We have a total of 7 family members, two of which are my granddaughters. We originated in Mexico, but my two daughters, son and grandchildren were all born here.

We have lived in numerous states because of my job. We decided to make willmar area home for the sake of the children's schooling. It was very difficult for the children to keep switching schools.

We have had so many opportunities available to us here as well. We recently learned about the Habitat for Humanity program. Thanks to Habitat we now have a wonderful home. We are all so very happy. The children are pleased to finally have their own bedrooms. We are very thanksful to Habitat and their volunteers that donated their valuable time to build our home and other Habitat homes. Thank you!

I want to thank Habitat for giving me the opportunity to own my own home and making our dreams come true. I have three girls, Jen 16, Joy 14, and Kristin 10. They love the house and big yard its nice to be able to go outside and have a place to play games.

We love that we have windows to look outside. I work at Rice Hospital as a PCA and love my job and the people I work with. Thank you again for all you have done for my family and we are forever grateful!
